Full-Time Payroll Specialist for Established CPA Firm—Seattle area or remote

We have an immediate opening for a Payroll Specialist, who will be responsible for preparing payroll and quarterly filings, supporting additional projects, and providing expert guidance to clients. This role requires high standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

MUST have 1 year of general office clerical experience = a unique aptitude for figures and problem-solving = experience with Microsoft Office = ability to manage and prioritize tasks for multiple clients simultaneously = exceptional organization and communication skills = high energy and a positive attitude = ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines = attention to detail and accuracy = a desire for more than just a job, but a career that allows for growth while having some fun, too.

The Payroll Specialist will:

  • Prepare payroll for clients, on time and accurately
  • Prepare quarterly payroll tax filings weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Support additional payroll and clerical projects as needed
  • Overall, help our clients manage their finances and operate more efficiently
