Serving Clients While Minimizing Risk

We have made several operational and policy changes that allow The Akopyan Group, CPAs P.S. to continue serving our clients while also doing our part to help limit the spread of COVID-19.

  • All appointments are now being conducted either via phone or online tools. If you have a previously scheduled appointment and have not yet been contacted, one of our staff members will be in touch soon to reschedule.
  • If possible, all documents should be uploaded to our secure portal, or sent via email or fax. While the risk of virus transmission on packages and envelopes is likely extremely low, the online portal is our most convenient and secure option. Email and fax work as well. They all negate the need for a trip to the post office (or our office), too. If those options are not feasible for you, physical mail is still acceptable—or you can call us to discuss alternatives.
  • We have given our staff the option to work from home. This is for their safety, that of our clients, and of the community as well. Social distancing is vital to curtailing the spread of this virus.

Rest assured, we are still working diligently to ensure our clients’ tax preparation and filings proceed in a timely fashion. We also are closely monitoring the actions of the federal government with regards to tax deadline extensions, potential payroll tax holidays, and other issues.
