Full-Time Tax Preparer for Established CPA Firm—Seattle area or remote

We have an immediate opening for a Tax Preparer, who will be responsible for the timely completion and filing of a variety of tax forms for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals—as well as providing expert guidance to clients. This role requires the highest standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and quality.

Qualifications

MUST have 2-3 years of professional tax experience = strong knowledge of tax codes and regulations = a friendly, positive attitude (people often need reassurance at tax time) = ability to stay organized and meet deadlines = exceptional communication skills = solid problem-solving abilities = excellent computer skills = attention to detail and accuracy = the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously = excellent response time = a desire for more than just a job, but a career that allows for growth while having some fun, too.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role as well.

The Tax Preparer will:

  • Prepare tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals
  • Estimate income taxes
  • Research tax laws and changes
  • Consult with clients and help them plan
  • Provide clear and consistent client communications

Our team provides important guidance and advice that often goes beyond the numbers. The right person for this role will be comfortable meeting with clients (on camera if remote) and have strong communication skills.
